Members of the MIF seek to be some of the most active, well-rounded, and successful students in the James Madison community. We do not focus on recruiting just finance majors, rather we recruit students from all majors who are passionate to learn and challenge themselves to succeed. We use these qualities to then develop what we like to call the “MIF Core” in each of our members. By allowing their passion to fuel their development, we build candidates for recruiters that display integrity, ambition, determination, resilience, responsibility, perseverance, and excellence.

Some of our past members have worked at the following firms:

Morgan Stanley
Cerebus Capital
Pricewaterhouse Coopers
Wachovia Securities

For alumni:
As a undergraduate organization we actively seek out alumni engagement to broaden the knowledge of our members and to introduce them to different career opportunities after graduation. If you are an alumni of the Fund we would love to have you come speak to the Fund about your career, area of expertise, or how to best prepare for today's job market. Each school year we sponsor lectures, panel presentations, and networking sessions in which we would welcome your participation.
For recruiters:
The network of MIF members stems across Wall Street, the financial industry, business consulting, international commerce, and a variety of other areas of business around the world. If you are interested in learning more about MIF members and their skill sets please reach out to our faculty advisor, Dr. Elias Semaan, by emailing him at semaanej@jmu.edu.
